Christin Kristoffersen new senior associate at Conow

Conow proudly presents Christin Kristoffersen as its new Senior Associate. Mrs. Kristoffersen is publicly known in Norway for her many years of work in the Arctic community, academia, and industry, and her strong voice on important issues such as climate change and regional development. Kristoffersen served as Mayor in Longyearbyen (Spitsbergen) from 2011- 2015.

-This is truly a very good day for Conow. With Kristoffersen on board, Conow will expand its focus to an entire new geographical area, namely the Arctic. In addition, we get a colleague with broad networks and skills-set to enable us to provide our clients increased services, says Rolf A. Vestvik, partner at Conow.

Kristoffersen has extensive experience with internationalization and strategic development within academia, including leadership positions in the Universities of the Arctic. She is chairman at the faculty of sports, tourism and social science at the University of Tromsø. She is also a board member at Mo industripark AS and Svalbard museum. Kristoffersen is a social scientist with a major in education and master's degree courses in strategic economic and administrative management from UiT, Norwegian Arctic University and Lund University.
